Jonathan has been in practice as a litigation lawyer in New Zealand since 2004. After 2 years as a barrister and solicitor at a Nelson firm and 2 ½ years at a Wellington law firm, Jonathan was one of four foundation members of Port Nicholson Chambers which opened in April 2009.

Jonathan has acted as lead counsel and junior counsel in a wide range of litigation including inter-shareholder company disputes, trust claims, Securities Act claims, international import/export contract disputes, property and leasehold matters, leaky building litigation, injunctive relief, arbitrations and general commercial contract cases.

Jonathan has been instructed by solicitors for clients including large companies, liquidators, government departments, partnerships and individuals.
